Late in the fall of 1980 Bruce called and suggested for XMAS we give our wives a February 1981 Lake Tahoe skiing trip. After dropping Bruce and the girls at Heavenly Valley to ski, I spent the day scouting options for the evening.  At the end of the day, as I waited for them to show, Bruce made his appearance with a crash into the snow fence at the bottom of the run on his rear with one ski following him down. He reminded me of a beat up drowned cat. Thank goodness the option selected was a hot tub in the woods with snow coming through the pines, two naked nymphs, wine, cheese, etc. Like I mentioned previously, we were lifelong friends. – Tim Willis
