When visiting Pat and Bruce after Bruce was sick I'll always remember when he came home one afternoon smiling broadly and lifting a beautiful putter in the air. He said he had been looking at it for a while up at the clubhouse. He laughed and said it was more than he wanted to spend. He just grinned more and said he just played the "C" card and they gave him the putter. He sure kept his sense of humor.
